Overview

RFC Dallas Inc. is a nonprofit flying club based at Addison Airport. The purpose of our club is to provide a selection of aircraft at economical rates for members to enjoy a wide range of general aviation activities; such as flight safety discussions, flight skills training, vacation trips, business trips, and just plane flying.

We currently have five aircraft and roughly one hundred members. Our fleet consists of a Piper PA28-180, Cessna 177RG, and three F-33A Beechcraft Bonanzas.

We have an automated computer reservations system that is accessible either through the Web or through the phone. Our members enjoy the convenience of making or changing reservations 24 hours a day, seven days a week! Club bylaws permit members to have three reservations at any one time, not including one for the current day.

RFC Dallas Inc. maintains an insurance policy covering the club, aircraft, and its members. Any deductibles, however, are the responsibility of the pilot in command.

Our club leases it aircraft from the owners, who are also Club members. The hourly rate, based on hobbs time, covers the aircraft leasing fee, fuel, and oil. The aircraft owners are responsible for aircraft maintenance. Quoted rates do not include sales tax. The Membership Deposits are used as working capital for the Club and is refunded when the member leaves the Club. Tiered dues are $45/month for Cherokee only pilots, $55/month for Cherokee/Cardinal pilots, and $65/month for Cherokee/Cardinal/Bonanza pilots. Members are required to remain in the Club for 6 months before they may resign. The initiation fee covers the cost of printing manuals and documents distributed to new members for each of the aircraft they fly. The Membership Dues cover cost of insurance, patio hangers, and administrative costs.
